Miratech today announced its inclusion in Software Magazine’s Software 500 ranking of the world’s largest software and service providers. This annual list is now in its 31st year.
Miratech was number 432 on the list, with a total software and services revenue of US$13.7 million. Miratech was also included in the top 10 of the subrating, Keeping Fast Company: Growth in Revenue from $10M to $30M.
We are glad to be recognized as one of the world’s fast growing software and services suppliers. Our ambition is to grow the company and climb up in the Software 500, said Miratech CEO Valeriy Kutsyy.
The 2013 Software 500 results show that employment in the software and services industry was very healthy in 2012, increasing 9.5 percent to a total number of Software 500 company employees of 4,924,121, said John P. Desmond, editor of Software Magazine. At the same time, he added, overall revenue was up four percent from last year to US$672.9 billion.
The Software 500 helps CIOs, senior IT managers, and IT staff research and create a short list of business partners, Desmond said. It is a quick reference of vendor viability. And the online version, to be posted soon at www.softwaremag.com, is searchable by category, making it what we call the online catalog to enterprise software.

About Software 500
The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world’s largest software and services suppliers, targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers, and business managers involved in software and services purchasing.
The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2012. This includes revenue from software licenses, maintenance and support, training, software-related services, and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. Financial information is gathered by a survey prepared by Rockport Custom Publishing, LLC, using public documents and company input. It is published in print as well as posted online at www.softwaremag.com as both a digital edition and searchable database.
