Our Leadership Team harkens back to some of the greatest engineers and scientists. From its origin in European roots to its current status as a US-based company, Miratech has always been dedicated to employing some of greatest technological minds in the industry.
Leadership
Valeriy Kutsyy
Chief Executive Officer
Valeriy Kutsyy holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and an Executive MBA and joined Miratech in 1998 as a software engineer. He advanced through a range of positions with increasing responsibilities and began serving as CEO in January 1, 2008. Valeriy also is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). In 2017, he completed Harvard Business School Executive Education program for Leading Global Businesses.
Matthew Ainsworth
Chief Revenue Officer
Matthew Ainsworth served as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Empirix Inc., a privately held company, specializing in the end-to-end test automation, service performance monitoring, assurance and analytics. He was also responsible for the enterprise strategy and go to market of Empirix Testing as a Service (ETaaS) cloud offering, global alliances building OEM/Joint offerings with the leaders in communications.
James Coleman
Vice President of Marketing

James Coleman is a senior marketing leader with nearly two decades of experience building and scaling global marketing functions across the world’s leading data, analytics, and information services businesses. Most recently, he served as SVP and Head of Go-to-Market at Nielsen and orchestrated marketing across North America, EMEA, and APAC, developing growth programs and go-to-market strategies that drove commercial growth and turned complex propositions into market-leading positions. Earlier he held senior roles at Gartner, where he helped build the international marketing function and was part of the team that navigated the landmark CEB acquisition, and at RX Global/Elsevier.

Through these roles, James has led every marketing discipline, from demand generation and ABM to product marketing, external communications, and sales enablement.

Justin Kearney
Senior Vice President of People

Justin Kearney is responsible for the People functions at Miratech. Prior to Miratech, Justin led the people function for Logicalis, an international IT services business, enabling business growth with Logicalis doubling in size during his tenure, as well as digitalizing the HR functions, and developing an international HR leadership team. Prior to Logicalis, Justin learned HR best practices from businesses such as GE, Sainsburys, and Invensys in a variety of industries.

Justin’s primary focus is to lead and cultivate Miratech’s organizational culture, strengthen employee engagement, and design and implement people practices that will enable sustained growth for our company.

Justin holds a BA degree in Psychology, an MA degree in Business Management, and a diploma in Personnel and Development.

Naveen Menon
Chief Operating Officer
Naveen Menon is a seasoned technology executive with over 25 years of leadership experience across the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors. He has led global teams in organizations exceeding $1.5 billion in revenue, including serving as President of Cisco Southeast Asia, where he managed operations in 10 countries, drove the landmark $28 billion Splunk acquisition, and launched Cisco’s Full Stack Observability SaaS. Naveen also served on the Cisco Foundation Board, overseeing a $100 million global impact portfolio. Previously, he was a Senior Partner at Kearney, advising Fortune 500 executives and leading its global Social Impact practice. He holds multiple board and advisory roles and is a knowledge advisor to the World Economic Forum.
Alexander Oleshko
Executive Vice-President, Global Delivery
Alexander has over a decade of successful experience at C-level. He is skilled at running high-achieving teams and implementing effective global business strategies in IT services, banking, and retail. Alexander joined Miratech in 2018 and was responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple programs and projects for a number of Miratech’s Fortune 500 clients. In June 2021, he was appointed SVP of Global Delivery, driving ongoing operational delivery excellence, ensuring continuous process improvements, and optimizing Miratech’s customer experience solutions to help its clients differentiate in a highly competitive and disruptive environment.
Mark Page
Chief Financial Officer

Mark Page is a senior business leader and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience building, funding, and transforming organizations across Europe. Over 16 years at Kearney, he advised clients in the tech and telecom sectors, was elected three times as a Global Board Member, and served as UK Managing Partner and EMEA co-lead, overseeing finance and operations for a $500M business across 15+ countries. He has since co-founded and led the finance function of high-growth ventures, raising five financing rounds that built €280M enterprise value.

Mark holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a first-class BA in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge. Based in Berlin, Mark is fluent in English and German, and is a board member of the Barbican Centre in London.

Olga Skydan
Executive Vice-President, Corporate services
Olga Skydan is a technology executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience in IT services. She leads the company’s global People, Talent Acquisition, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, ESG and Business continuity. Olga has played a key role in the company’s global expansion, building talent acquisition capabilities across 24 countries, implementing a Work-from-Anywhere that enabled worldwide hiring, and establishing Miratech’s India delivery center. She also led critical Business Continuity programs, earning recognition through a Red Ladder Award nomination and winning in the “Unstoppable Women” award. Prior to joining Miratech in 2014, Olga served as CEO and co-owner of a telecommunications product company. She holds a Master of Science degree in Automatics and Computer Control Systems, an Executive MBA, and a Ph.D. in Mathematical Modeling.

Shimi Shah
Chairperson of the Board
Ms. Shah has over two decades of venture capital investment experience in the US, Europe, and the Middle East. During the last 10 years, she has used her investment and board expertise to design, build, and manage fiduciary and advisory boards for clients that include sovereign wealth funds, family offices, private equity, and large private businesses.  Shimi also founded NEDx in 2020, that focuses on coaching high impact directors as well as building high performance boards.
Ms. Shah is known globally as an innovation and corporate governance expert and advises SMEs and government establishments across EMEA. She is highly regarded in the field of board leadership and evaluation – she leads companies, family offices, and funds to design, build, and strengthen boards to enable them to reach their objectives. Shimi is an active member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO), currently serving on the Chapter committee.
Derek Elder
Board Member
Derek Elder brings extensive global technology experience, including being a NASDAQ-listed CEO and Public and Private-company Independent Director. Alongside an outstanding business career at the forefront of technology and technological change, he is well-known for delivering operational efficiency and driving profitable business growth. Mr. Elder currently serves as President of Sercomm Technology, a subsidiary of Sercomm Corporation, which designs and manufactures cutting-edge broadband technology for Tier 1 and Tier 2 broadband providers.  He also serves on the Board of Directors of Vecima Networks (TSX: VCM). From the very outset of his career to today, Mr. Elder has reliably delivered successful results by combining his technology and business expertise. He holds both a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pennsylvania State University. A respected NACD Governance Fellow with the National Association of Corporate Directors, he is also a patent holder and maintains an active secret security clearance.

Nikolay Royenko
Board Member
After a highly successful academic career in IT, Nikolay founded Miratech in 1989 and developed the company into an IT leader in the industry with qualified personnel and international projects and representation. He subsequently served as Miratech’s CEO until December 1999. Mr. Royenko obtained his Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1980, and his PhD in Computer Science from V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of NAS of Ukraine in 1983. From 1983 to 1989, Nikolay served as Head of Laboratory and Deputy Director at the Institute of Software Systems of NAS of Ukraine. Mr. Royenko was a visiting researcher at the University of Zurich, and participated in the Young Scientists Summer Program at the International Institute for Applied System Analysis in Vienna, Austria. In 2004, Nikolay was elected Charter President at IT Ukraine, a leading industrial IT association, and was subsequently reelected four times in a row.
Hanna Shuvalova
Board Member
Hanna first joined Horizon back in 2017. During her tenure at Horizon, she focused on tech portfolio companies and new business development leads, playing a key role in value-added projects for Horizon. After leaving Horizon in 2019 to pursue her Master’s degree in Management at Stanford Graduate School of Business, Hanna went on to co-found Pawa, an AI-focused venture studio. As the Managing Partner and CEO, she was instrumental in setting up studio operations, developing its strategy, and establishing international partnerships. Under Hanna’s leadership, Pawa secured funding from international investors and incubated several AI startups. Ms. Shuvalova holds an MS in Management degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Stewart Christ
Chairperson of the Advisory Board
Stewart H. Christ has been a Board member since 2013. With more than 30 years of experience in business development, management and technical skills, his role is primarily to support corporate leadership in the execution of Miratech’s business development strategies in the US markets. Stewart is also a chapter chairman from the Washington D.C. and Baltimore chapters of the World Presidents’ Organization and a graduate of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Stewart’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
Ken Archer
Advisory Board Member
Accomplished and intuitive executive, with an award-winning 37- year track record in optimizing sales and channel/indirect routes to market to achieve the scaling of business results at companies like HPE, Avaya and Genesys. Recognized “Industry Thought Leader” on “Partnering” and the optimization of partner eco-systems. He has been recognized multiple times by Channel Reseller News (CRN) as one of the top channel executives in the technology industry.   In Ken’s career he has extensive experience in managing various types of channel partner organizations from VARS, Managed Services Providers, Hyperscalers, Distributors, ISVs, Alliance Partners, BPOs, Telcos, Master Agents and vertically focused partners. Additionally, Ken also has the unique experience of having been the CEO of a multi- million-dollar Managed Services Partner, so he truly understands the  needs of the partner community from both a manufacturer and a partner perspective.  Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and investment case development abilities. Proven track record of successfully securing major funding for growth/expansion while driving efficiency, innovation and operational agility to deliver long term shareholder and stakeholder value.  Cultural transformation driver and change enabler, who combines strategic abilities with commercial acumen and influential leadership skills to maneuvers businesses and functions through periods of exciting innovation, M&A, turnaround, and growth. Wes Hayden
Advisory Board Member
Wes Hayden is currently EVP of International at Afiniti and is responsible for commercial operations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Wes brings over 40 years of experience in Sales and Executive Management with technology companies.  Early in his career, Wes led sales teams with a number of iconic organizations like Digital Equipment Corporation, Sun Microsystems and Informix software.  For the past 20+ years he has held Executive roles in the contact center infrastructure space as a division President at Nuance and LiveOps and as CEO of Genesys and Virtual Hold Technology. Wes holds a BS degree from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  He is on the board of the International Women’s Democracy Center in Washington, DC. and is an avid wakesurfer, paddleboarder, and beginning pickleball player.
Laurent Philonenko
Advisory Board Member
Laurent Philonenko is Managing Partner at DeepTech Group, where he leads efforts to help deep tech startups transform cutting-edge innovation into scalable, enterprise-ready solutions. Drawing on decades of C-level experience in technology and customer experience, Laurent serves as a trusted advisor to founders navigating complex go-to-market, product, and M&A strategies. As an executive advisor, Laurent has guided several startups to successful outcomes, including strategic acquisitions by industry leaders such as Munich Re, NiCE, and Dialpad. His impact spans sectors from customer experience to cybersecurity and AI, where he helps early-stage ventures align differentiated technology with real-world enterprise use cases. Previously, Laurent held leadership roles as CEO of Genesys and Servion, CTO and SVP at Cisco and Avaya, and Senior VP at Alcatel. His track record includes doubling revenues in contact center divisions, growing a UC business to $100M from scratch, and leading multi-billion-dollar restructuring and M&A initiatives. At DeepTech Group, Laurent focuses on bridging the gap between breakthrough innovation and commercial viability.
