OCTOBER 12, 2018, NEW YORK – Miratech and Axactor are delighted to announce that The Global Sourcing Association (GSA) has named the companies as winners of the organization’s prestigious Global Sourcing Award 2018 in the category IT Outsourcing (ITO) Project. The three major GSA award ceremonies are the industry leading events that recognize innovation and pioneering best practices by suppliers, buyers, and advisors. The GSA Global Awards are completely independent, and as such they are the most highly respected and coveted awards within the outsourcing industry.
The ITO Project of the Year was evaluated on the ability to deliver both initial and ongoing business value to the client, incorporate both best practice and continuous service innovation. The projects of the seven finalists within the category were judged on the following criteria: strategy, partnership approach, benefits realization, best practice and governance, and innovation.
Winners were announced at the GSA Global Sourcing Summit and Awards on October 2, 2018 in Cape Town, South Africa following the vote by recognized outsourcing professionals and industry experts who served as judges for the competition.
The project presented reflects the strategic partnership between Axactor and Miratech, under Miratech’s Turn-Key IT delivery model. The key differentiator that garnered the award was Miratech’s support of the entire IT value chain from the CIO down. Axactor has made remarkable progress during the first years of operation and continues an aggressive growth-through-acquisition strategy operating now in five countries, including Spain, Norway, Italy, Germany, and Sweden. The unique strategic partnership between Axactor and Miratech is one of the key enablers to its success.
“Axactor is happy to have won this GSA’s award for 2018 together with Miratech in the category IT Outsourcing. The partnership between Miratech and Axactor is based on trust, hands on in the daily work and excellent people and knowledge about IT and Project Management”, said Oddgeir Hansen, Chief Operating Officer, Axactor.
Alexander Latenko, Program Director, Miratech and acting CIO at Axactor, added, “Being agile as an outsourced partner requires a unique level of trust, transparency, and shared resources. Miratech continues to simplify even the most complex projects, and the Axactor project exemplifies this unique skill. Where else do you find the need to coordinate technology around multiple regulatory agencies, multiple currencies, and unique market or customer demands in five countries… this really tests a company’s ability to deliver a project on-time without any defects!”
“We are honored that our project with Axactor has been globally recognized and has received the top award in the industry. Our strategic partnership has enabled Axactor to show impressive growth results,” – commented Nikolay Royenko, President, Miratech.
It is worth mentioning that in 2015 Miratech won the European IT Outsourcing Project of the Year Award from the European Outsourcing Association.
