We Stand With Ukraine

At Miratech, we stand firmly with Ukraine in the face of the full-scale invasion by Russia that began on February 24, 2022. Our commitment to supporting Ukraine’s resilience and progress is unwavering. Through various initiatives and partnerships, we leverage our resources and expertise to contribute to the defense efforts and economic growth of Ukraine.

Ongoing Support for Ukraine

Since the first day of the full-scale invasion, Miratech has been dedicated to actively supporting Ukraine through a range of volunteering and donation efforts.

As of July 2024, Miratech and its people have donated approximately 17 million Hryvnias (around US $0.5 million) to various initiatives supporting Ukraine’s war effort. We supplied the army with essential equipment, including thermal telescopes, radio stations, drones, CAT tourniquets, and thermal imaging devices. Our employees have shown their dedication by volunteering, serving as paramedics, and even joining the military. We have also supported initiatives of prominent organizations such as Ukraine House, United24, Prytula Foundation, and Tabletochki.

Through these efforts, Miratech is committed to preserving and expanding job opportunities in Ukraine, supporting our 280 team members in the country, and creating a safe work environment. This commitment is part of our broader strategy to support Ukraine and ensure a stable future for our employees and their families.

“Rebuild Ukraine” Support

Miratech actively promotes Ukrainian IT on the global stage.  We believe the exceptional commitment shown by Ukrainian developers during the war deserves recognition. We are dedicated to creating and expanding job opportunities in Ukraine. To further this goal, Miratech became a Bronze Sponsor at the Rebuild Ukraine Business Conference, hosted by the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce in November 2023 in Toronto, Canada. This event was pivotal for fostering partnerships, exploring investment opportunities, and contributing to Ukraine’s revitalization. With over 60+ speakers and 350 attendees from both Canada and Ukraine, it was a resounding success.

Creative Aid for Ukraine

To raise funds for children affected by the ongoing conflict, we launched the “Peace in Kids’ Eyes” NFT charity auction and the “Victory of Ukraine” children’s drawing initiative. Children of our employees, created pictures, that were turned into NFTs and presented at the auction. These initiatives have collectively raised an impressive 20,000 UAH (approximately US$700), and the children’s drawings continue to inspire and motivate us.

Inspired by children’s creativity, our CEO, Valeriy Kutsyy, announced a call for ideas on projects that can engage people from around the world to support Ukraine on an ongoing basis. We will allocate up to 2 million Hryvnias (around US$50,000) to cover the costs of the initial phase of these projects.

Improving IT Education in Ukraine

With the commencement of a new academic year, we started our annual ESG project, “Empowering Modern IT” in collaboration with the Department of Computer Sciences at Vinnytsia National Technical University (VNTU) in Vinnytsia, Ukraine to empower aspiring IT professionals.

We welcomed 67 outstanding master’s students specializing in Computer Science to our lectures, selected from a highly competitive pool of over 150 applicants at VNTU.
Miratech employees, including executives, covered a broad spectrum of topics within the dynamic realm of Information Technology (IT), offering students fresh perspectives on various IT topics. These meetings provided invaluable insights, helping students navigate the tech landscape, select appropriate technologies to focus on and understand employers’ expectations.
