MARCH 7, 2019, NEW YORK – Miratech, a global IT services and consulting organization, is delighted to announce the new board. The change will help improve internal governance, which is part of our strategy to grow to the next level.
The new board members include Mark Iwashko, Dan Pasko, Adomas Audickas, Valeriy Kutsyy, and Nikolay Royenko.
Mr. Mark Iwashko has been elected as the new chairman of the board. “I am pleased to join the work and strategic management of Miratech. It is important for us to share our experience and knowledge, expanding horizons and accelerating the pace of development of the company. I am confident that our cooperation and work in the board will be productive and effective,” commented Mr. Iwashko.
“Given the diverse backgrounds and impressive track-records of each of our new board members, I am confident that their leadership and international experience will be vital to extending our reach and better executing on our long-term strategy,” said Miratech CEO, Valeriy Kutsyy.
Mr. Iwashko is a highly experienced private equity professional with over 22 years of practice in the industry. In 2006, he co-founded Horizon Capital, a private equity fund with assets under management of over $600 million of assets under management, and led Horizon’s investment function as Chief Investment Officer throughout his career there. Mr. Iwashko left Horizon Capital in 2013 to establish Diligent Capital Partners and currently co-manages the independent mid-market private equity firm. Throughout his career, Mr. Iwashko has put significant effort in promoting good corporate governance, having served on over 30 boards in privately held and publicly listed companies as well as NGO’s. Previously, he held management positions in consulting, manufacturing, and technology industries in the United States. He received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1991, a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1984, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado in 1983.
Mr. Pasko has over 15 years of experience in PE, angel investment, and entrepreneurial ventures. He served as a Principal at Horizon Capital, a private equity fund with assets under management of over $600 million. After leaving Horizon in 2013, he established Diligent Capital Partners where he currently acts as a co-managing Partner. Dan is an experienced board member previously participating or chairing boards at Bostovan Wineries, Nova Poshta, Allseeds, and Preply. He obtained his MBA from Harvard Business School in 2010 and Master of Finance from KNEU in 2007.
Mr. Audickas has over 15 years of professional experience in investment banking, corporate banking, public administration, and management consulting. Adomas led the reform of state-owned enterprises in Lithuania as a Vice-Minister of Economy. Mr. Audickas also served as the chairman of the largest Lithuanian energy holding Lietuvos Energija, also was a member of the board of Giraites Ginkluotes Gamykla, Lithuanian State Property Fund. Currently, Adomas is the vice-chair of Main Gas Pipelines of Ukraine, and is a co-founder and the president of Ukrainian Corporate Governance Academy. Mr. Audickas holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Bachelor of Science in Finance from ICMA business school and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Vilnius University.
Valeriy Kutsyy is Miratech Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kutsyy holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and an Executive MBA and joined Miratech in 1998 as a software engineer. He advanced through a range of positions with increasing responsibilities and began serving as CEO in January 1, 2008. Valeriy also is a member of the Metro New York chapter of the World Presidents’ Organization (WPO). In 2017, he completed Harvard Business School Executive Education program for Leading Global Businesses.
Nikolay Royenko is Miratech President. After a highly successful 10-year academic career in IT, Nikolay founded Miratech in 1989 and developed the company into an IT leader in the industry with qualified personnel and international projects and representation. He subsequently served as Miratech’s CEO until December 1999.
