1989: Established by a team from Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics as one of the first privately held IT companies in the USSR

Miratech has headquarters in Stockholm and Washington, DC; sales and support offices in the UK and Switzerland; and 6 R&D centers in Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine. With these worldwide locations, we are able to readily provide services to our customers wherever they may be. 
 
Miratech’s R&D Centers are only a two-hour flight away from most of Europe and a nine-hour flight away from the US. This close proximity to Europe and a seven-hour time difference with the US East Coast gives us an advantage for communication and coordination. Conference calls that include participants in Western Europe, North America, and Miratech’s R&D Centers in Central and Eastern Europe can be arranged during regular business hours.
 
Over the past few years, Central and Eastern European countries have become noticeable players in international software engineering, IT servicing. Poland’s and Ukraine’s advantage over other countries are their outstanding level of locally trained and educated IT professionals. Culturally, they are similar to Western Europe and North America, two of Miratech’s most important and strategic markets.
